Vocational School Director’s Message

Graduates of the Maritime Transportation and Management program, who have successfully completed a 12-month on-board training and examinations conducted by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, are qualified to work as a deck officer on board.

Graduates of the Ship Machinery program, who have completed a 12 month internship which includes 6 months on-board training and 6 months’workshop based training, and who have successfully completed examinations conducted by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, are qualified to work as a Mechanical Officer on a ship.

Graduates of the Maritime Management and Operations program, who have also completed a 6-month on-board training and examinations conducted by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, are qualified to work as a Yacht Captain. Graduates of this program are also qualified to work within the maritime agencies, brokering, logistic companies and other similar companies.

Graduates of the Underwater Technologies program, who have completed the internship can work in the tourism sector as a diver and are also qualified as a first-class diver and underwater industry diver.

Maritime Vocational School aims to train qualified and self-confident students who are equipped with the international knowledge and skills in order to meet the requirements of today’s world, who can solve problems by focusing on team-work, equipped with leadership skills and entrepreneurial awareness in accordance with the human-power requirements of maritime field of our country.

We are adopting an interactive education which will enable our students to become professional individuals with efficient knowledge and ethical values essential for the industry, also acquired with intellectual accumulation, innovation and social responsibility, who will also respect their environment.
